Teen Intensive Summer 2019

Nimbus' 2-week teen dance intensive provides students with an accelerated curriculum to boost their technique and artistry in dance. Directed by Brandy White, Director of the Nimbus Youth Ensemble and a Nimbus Company Dancer, this program is designed for any dance student who wants to improve his/her technique or to be exposed to new styles and approaches. The Teen Intensive is taught by Nimbus' award-winning teaching staff (made up of professional company dancers) and renowned master class teachers. This 2-week intensive is excellent for students who plan on applying to competitive college or high school dance programs, or anyone who wants to receive a rigorous conservatory experience before entering a dance program in the fall.

Additionally, students who sign up and participate in both weeks of the Nimbus Teen Intensive will have an invaluable opportunity to perform with professional dancers of Nimbus’ Company as part of the SUMMER DANCE SERIES, presented by the City of Jersey City and the Office of Cultural Affairs at the J. Owen Grundy Pier on the evening of Wednesday, July 17th. A Nimbus Company artist will choreograph a piece on the students.
