About Us
The School of Nimbus offers professional dance instruction in ballet, modern, hip hop, tap and many other dance techniques for children, teens and pre-professional students ages 2-18. The School of Nimbus emphasizes small classes and high quality dance education taught by Nimbus Dance company dancers and leading professionals in the industry, in a non-competitive environment.
Students at The School of Nimbus have the opportunity to perform alongside Nimbus’ professional dance company. Nimbus offers additional performance opportunities including the Junior Youth Ensemble (9-13 yrs), Pre-Professional Program / Nimbus Youth Ensemble (13-18 yrs) and Spring Showcase for students of all ages.
The School of Nimbus offers Professional dance instruction emphasizing technique, musicality, creativity and Fun!
Need- and merit-based financial aid and scholarships are available.
Nimbus Dance Works is a 501(c)3 non-profit professional dance company and school.

“So many reasons to love this place! I was looking for a good dance school for my seven year old daughter. She started ballet at another place, but I found the classes to be overcrowded, and the instructors didn’t teach the names of positions or how to count with the music. I found NIMBUS to be a great balance between good, quality instruction while also being appealing to children. All the teachers are professional dancers. The classes are small, and her teacher makes things fun and understandable without sacrificing instruction.”
