  • Sarah Lane began her ballet training in Memphis, Tennessee, at Memphis Classical Ballet, and continued her studies at the Draper Center for Dance Education in Rochester, New York. She joined American Ballet Theatre’s Studio Company in 2002 and, over the course of an 18-year career with the company, rose to the rank of Principal Dancer. With more than 25 years of professional experience, Lane has performed a wide range of leading roles at ABT, including Manon, Giselle, Swan Lake, La Bayadère, Coppélia, Le Corsaire, Don Quixote, The Sleeping Beauty, Theme and Variations, and Whipped Cream, among many others.

    An internationally sought-after guest artist, she has appeared with companies including Houston Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Richmond Ballet, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Kremlin Ballet, Barcelona Ballet, NBA Ballet Company, and Hong Kong Ballet. Beyond the stage, she is an American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum–certified teacher, an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and Gyrokinesis–certified. She has served as a guest rehearsal director for American Repertory Ballet and currently holds the role of Co-Director of the School of Nimbus, while also serving on the faculty of New Jersey Ballet School. She is the founder and director of Dance for Paws.

  • Marie Zvosec is a graduate of The Juilliard School, the North Carolina School of the Arts, and Sarah Lawrence College. She has been seen performing with Buglisi Dance Theatre, TAKE Dance, Bennyroyce Dance, Hilary Easton + Company, Douglas Dunn and Dancers, Shannon Gillan and Elisabeth Motley, Elizabeth Keen, and with the Metropolitan Opera in in productions by Zhang Yimou and Mark Morris. For Brooklyn Opera Works, she directed Hansel and Gretel (2014), A Brooklyn Cabaret (2015), Dido and Aeneas (2016), Echo et Narcisse (2017), Venus and Adonis (2018), and All Wounds Bleed (2019). Choreographic commissions include works for Ohio Dance Theatre, Adelphi University, Lyric Opera Cleveland, Bennyroyce Dance, Springboard Danse Montréal, Blackbird/Oiseau Noir Dance, Moxie Contemporary Ballet, and Randolph College. She was a fellow at BAM’s Professional Development Program and was a full scholarship awardee for Teaching Artist Training at National Dance Institute. She was Chair of the Dance Department at Brooklyn Music School and at Randolph College, Director of the Helen McGehee Visiting Artist in Dance Program, and is a faculty member at Adelphi University, where she teaches technique, partnering, and composition

  • MARI SUGAWA was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Japan, where she received her training. She began ballet training with Mariko Yamamura in her hometown of Matsusaka, Mie, and continued to study with renowned ballerina Yoko Morishita and ballet master Tetsutaro Shimizu as an apprentice with Matsuyama Ballet Company in Tokyo. She also worked privately with prima ballerina assoluta Eva Evdokimova after returning to the U.S.

    Her repertoire includes leading roles such as Giselle, Odette in Swan Lake, Kitri in Don Quixote, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, and Nikiya in La Bayadère. Her performances as Giselle and Juliet have received particular critical praise.

    She has performed with New Jersey Ballet, Ballet Austin, Eglevsky Ballet, New York Theatre Ballet, and Matsuyama Ballet Company. She is currently based in the U.S. and works as a guest instructor, sharing her experience with students in both the U.S. and Japan. She is also a certified Pilates mat and reformer instructor through Pilates Academy International.

  • Luis Ribagorda was born in Madrid, Spain, and began his dance training at the age of three. By seven, he was studying at the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza de Madrid, where he trained in classical ballet, contemporary, traditional Spanish dance, and music. In 2001 he won two scholarships at the Castellón Contest to study with Compañía Nacional de Danza 2 and Nederlands Dans Theater II, and later that year received first prize in the Junior Category at the Zaragoza International Dance Contest. During the summers of 2001 and 2002 he was selected for the Europa Dance Project, touring France in principal roles, and in 2002 he earned a full scholarship to The Royal Ballet School in London after competing in the Roseta Mauri International Dance Competition in Reus, Spain. Ribagorda joined Boston Ballet in 2003 and became a member of the corps de ballet with American Ballet Theatre in 2004, performing featured roles around the world. Alongside his dance career, filmmaking remained a lifelong passion, and he began creating films for special events at American Ballet Theatre, including two films for Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie’s 20th anniversary that premiered at the Metropolitan Opera House and a memorial film honoring Frederic Franklin. He has since produced numerous films, documentaries, and promotional works such as Empty Place, Drome, The Breath Between, Elephant Knees, Toi et moi, moi et toi, and the award-winning dance short On A Grass Field, which he co-wrote, co-produced, directed, shot, edited, and scored. In April 2021, while maintaining his demanding dance career, Ribagorda graduated as valedictorian from Full Sail University with a Bachelor of Science in Digital Cinematography and continues to seek collaborations that create meaningful, artistically driven work.

  • Carly Greene is in her third season as a Company Artist with Dance Theatre of Harlem. She is from Flower Mound, Texas, and received her early training at The Ballet Conservatory. She attended summer programs at Houston Ballet, The School of American Ballet, Boston Ballet, Colorado Ballet, and Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary Ballet Ensemble.

    Greene continued her training in the Alvin Ailey/Fordham University BFA Program and graduated magna cum laude with a BFA in Dance and a BA in Digital Technology and Emerging Media.

    With Dance Theatre of Harlem, she has performed principal roles in ballets by George Balanchine and Robert Garland and has also performed works by William Forsythe and Geoffrey Holder.

  • Natalia received her training at the School of American Ballet. In her varied career with PNB, ABT, and in Berlin, she had the opportunity to perform in works by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Christopher Wheeldon, Lynn Taylor-Corbett, John Cranko, and Agnes DeMille, as well as all the great classic story ballets. Based in NYC, she currently teaches at Ballet Hispanico, Manhattan Youth Ballet (MYB), and has been a visiting instructor at Neglia Ballet, Steps Academy, and Ballet Tech. She has written about teaching and ballet technique for Dance, Pointe and Dance Teacher magazines. It is her great joy to pass along her expertise and love of ballet to the next generation of young dancers.

  • Yinet Fernández Arbolaez was born in Havana, Cuba, and began her studies at Alejo Carpentier National School of Ballet in Cuba, where she was fortunate to work with mentors including Marta Iris Fernandez, Ramona de Saa, Caridad Martinez, as well as others renowned teachers. In 2008, Yinet graduated and joined National Ballet of Cuba for six years performing ballets including Swan Lake and Don Quixote by Alicia Alonzo, Giselle, Coppelia and Romeo and Juliet. In 2016 she moved to United States and joined Dance Theater of Harlem where she danced from 2017 until the present.  At DTH she performed roles of Le Corsaire pas de deux and works by Balanchine, Christopher Wheeldon, Nacho Duato, Ullyses Dove and William Forsythe. Yinet is an ABT® Certified Teacher

  • Karen received her early training at New Jersey School of Ballet, joined the New Jersey Ballet Company at 14 and at 18 she rose to the rank of principal dancer.  During her career, she danced with several companies including Boston Repertory Ballet, Dayton Ballet, Ohio Ballet, and Dennis Wayne’s Dancers where she performed principal and soloist roles in an eclectic repertoire touring extensively throughout Europe, South America, Canada and the U.S.  At the invitation of Twyla Tharp, Karen joined Twyla Tharp Dance where she appeared as a featured “stomper” in the premiere of Tharp’s blockbuster, In the Upper Room.  She also danced many Tharp classics, Nine Sinatra Songs, As Time Goes By, and Baker’s Dozen, while a member of the company.

    Ms. Verso has served as Director of Dayton Ballet II, Associate Director of Connecticut Conservatory of Dance, and Adjunct Professor of Dance at Raritan Valley Community College and  Assistant to the Répétiteur when she worked with her husband to restage Jerome Robbins’ NY Export: Opus Jazz on New York City Ballet and the Joffrey Company, and Robbins’ Moves on Kansas City Ballet on behalf of the Robbins’ Rights Trust.  With her husband, Karen also founded and directed the Dance Center of New Jersey and The Repertory Dancers, a pre-professional performing group, for aspiring young dancers.  

    She has taught students of every level in dance schools, summer intensives, and colleges, in NYC and throughout the U.S. Teaching and coaching dance continues to be her passion.

  • Andrew Winans is an award-winning director and choreographer represented currently with two shows in the off-Broadway circuit. His work has been honored with multiple Perry, New York Theatre Festival, Theatre Maker and BroadwayWorld Awards and nominations. Andrew has worked closely under TONY Award recognized Broadway legends Bob Avian, Baayork Lee, Randy Skinner, Chet Walker and Donna McKechnie and reconstructed the works of Jerome Robbins and Michael Bennett.

    He recently directed and choreographed critically acclaimed new musical, Maddie off-Broadway, nominated for 7 NYTF Awards and 11 BroadwayWorld Awards including Best Musical, Direction and Choreography. Other New York creative and assistant credits include: Wicked (Broadway), Gotta Dance (York Theatre), Do Re Mi (revival), Agatha Christie’s The Hollow (Players Theatre), Mike & Mindy’s Wild Weekend Jam (Players Theatre) and Company of Man (AMT Theatre).

    Andrew worked as assistant to Bob Avian, Baayork Lee and the Michael Bennett estate on over 10 first class companies of A Chorus Line including the 50th Anniversary Celebration at the Shubert Theatre on Broadway, New York City Center, Lincoln Center, multiple National and International Tours, China Premier, Goodspeed Opera House, Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, The Public Theatre, The Apollo Theatre and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC. Andrew also re-staged A Chorus Line at Summer Stock Stage and Algonquin Arts, nominated for 4 BWW Regional Awards.

    Original, associate, resident and reconstruction work has been seen internationally with: Norwegian Creative Studios, Hershey Park, RWS Entertainment, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, American Dance Machine for the 21st Century, 54 Below, Green Room 42, National Asian Artists Project, CAP21, Hunter College in additional to multiple regional theatres, AEA staged readings and workshops. Andrew won both the 2021 NJ Perry Award and BWW Regional Award for Best Choreography in Hello, Dolly! with Capital Productions.

    As a performer, he toured in national and international companies of 42nd Street and A Chorus Line, also seen at: North Shore Music Theatre, Gateway Playhouse, Maine State Music Theatre, ACT of Connecticut among many other regionals. On screen television and film credits include Saturday Night Live hosted by Jason Sudeikis, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Live by Night starring Ben Affleck, and Leading Ladies on PBS.

    Andrew holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory and additionally trained at The School at Jacob’s Pillow. He is currently on faculty at STEPS on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center Tokyo, Joffrey Ballet, Peridance Center and adjunct at Marymount Manhattan College, dedicated to passing on a revived, classic style of story-telling based theater jazz and tap.
